Instant Plan Set Terms and Conditions

AURORA SOLAR INC. INSTANT PLAN SET TERMS & CONDITIONS

This Instant Plan Set Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) between Aurora Solar Inc. (“Aurora”) and Customer/You/Company is effective as of the date You either start using the Instant Plan Set Services or click on the I Accept button, whichever is earlier. These Terms are in addition to the terms and conditions detailed in your Services Agreement (“Agreement”) with Aurora. If Terms conflict with the Agreement, these Terms governs regarding the Instant Plan Set Application. Capitalized terms used and not defined have the meanings provided in the Agreement.

 

  1. Key Definitions

 

  • Instant Plan Set Application: Aurora’s Platform software for creating Permit Packages.
  • Permit Package: A document Customer creates independently using the Instant Plan Set Application for submission to authorities for solar installation permits. It may include designs, specifications, etc. Unless Aurora agrees in writing, Permit Packages exclude engineering stamps, which Customer must obtain.

 

  1. Service Details

2.1 Aurora is launching the Instant Plan Set Application. Upon executing this Terms, Customer gets access to create Permit Packages per Project. This application differs from Aurora’s Plan Sets product. 

2.2 Customers may use the Instant Plan Set Application via Aurora’s Platform to automatically generate Permit Packages per address for residential Projects only (unless Aurora consents in writing).  

2.3 Customers may revise/regenerate Permit Packages reasonably for a single Project. 

 

  1. Fees & Free Early Access Program:

3.1 Fees (Aurora Credit Cost per Permit Package) are detailed in the applicable Service Order. You acknowledge that You are participating in a Free Early Access program for the Instant Plan Set Application (“Free Early Access Program”). Under this Free Early Access Program, during the period of June 18, 2025, to August 17, 2025, inclusive (“Early Access Period”), You may generate Permit Packages free of charge. Aurora reserves the right to charge for any Permit Packages generated after the Early Access Period at its sole discretion and in accordance with the then-current fees detailed in the applicable Service Order or as otherwise communicated by Aurora. Use of the Instant Plan Set Application outside the terms of this Free Early Access Program (e.g., exceeding the free package limit or use after the Early Access Period without a separate fee agreement) may incur standard fees. Continued use of the Instant Plan Set Application by Customer following the expiration or termination of the Early Access Period shall be subject to the then-current fees. To facilitate such continued use, Customer may be required to execute a new Service Order or other applicable documentation as determined by Aurora. Customer expressly agrees that Aurora may charge any payment method or credit card on file with Aurora for Customer’s account for all applicable fees incurred for use of the Instant Plan Set Application after the Early Access Period, and Customer hereby authorizes Aurora to make such charges. If the Customer has not executed a new Service Order or renewed under applicable terms by the end of the Early Access Period, Aurora will disable access to the Instant Plan Set Application and require immediate payment for continued use. 

 

  1. License & Restrictions

4.1. License: Conditioned on Customer’s compliance (including Fee payment), Aurora grants Customer and its Authorized Users a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to: (a) use the Instant Plan Set Application for internal business purposes to generate Permit Packages; (b) reproduce and distribute reasonable copies of Permit Packages to its solar clients (without modification, derivative works, public display/performance, or removal of markings); (c) use the application solely to generate Permit Packages. Rights are limited to this grant. Aurora and its licensors reserve all other rights. 

4.2. Customer’s Responsibility: Customer is solely responsible for submitting Permit Packages to authorities having jurisdiction (“AHJ”) or applicable utility companies (“Utilities”) and for any rejections, re-submissions, or adjustments. Aurora does not warrant approval and is not liable for rejections. Aurora will not revise rejected Permit Packages. 

4.3. Availability: The Instant Plan Set Application is for residential Projects in the U.S. (including Puerto Rico). Aurora does not warrant availability elsewhere.

 

  1. No Warranties; Disclaimer

5.1. AS-IS SERVICE: THE INSTANT PLAN SET APPLICATION IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” AURORA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES (EXPRESS OR IMPLIED), INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND THOSE FROM COURSE OF DEALING, USAGE, OR TRADE.

5.2. No Support/SLAs: No support, service levels, security commitments, or indemnities in this Terms or the Agreement apply to the Instant Plan Set Application. Customer acknowledges it’s provided via Aurora’s Platform, and Aurora doesn’t guarantee its availability, functionality, or performance.

 

  1. General Provisions: Except as expressly modified by these Terms, the Agreement remains in full force and effect.

 

By clicking the ‘I Accept’ button or by accessing or using the Instant Plan Set Application, Customer agrees to and accepts the terms of this Terms.
